The Taste of Galesburg is annually held on the 3rd Thursday of July.
Simmons Street between Seminary and Prairie and surrounding parking lots in downtown Galesburg, IL.
This is a community event and open to all ages! Bring some friends.
There are free public lots and street parking available near the event.
Entrances are on Simmons Street at Seminary, Kellogg (in front of the Orpheum) and Prairie Streets.
There is a $5 gate fee to enter. Kids 12 and under are free. Tokens to purchase food are $1. Food item prices will vary.
This is a cash only event. There is an ATM within a block of the Kellogg Street entrance. No credit cards or checks accepted at this time.

All food and drink items are sold using tokens. Tokens are $1 each and are sold at 4 locations at the event. This is a cash only event. We are not able to take credit/debit cards. We will buy back unused tokens at our redemption booth if returned by 10:00 PM. They are good for next year if you want to keep them.

No, the Raffle will be held at 7:15 pm and you do not need to be present to win.

No outside food or drinks. Enjoy the wide variety of restaurant and food truck menus. The beer garden will have additional adult beverages for sale.
We are adding more restaurants every week! We will keep adding them as they sign up.
The restaurants and menus will be posted on the Tuesday before the event.
Each restaurant has a menu and will serve you at their spot. Please be patient. For some of them this is their first time serving you at this event. The map and menu that will be posted will help you decide how many tokens to buy.
Yes! There is a kids play area with activities. The kids area at the East end of Simmons Street.
Kids activities are free. Face painting by the Galesburg Community Arts Center and activities by Discovery Depot are set up on the east end of Simmons Street.
You must be 21 to be inside the beer garden. No exceptions (yes, that means no baby strollers). Alcohol is allowed outside the beer garden within the event until 8:30 pm only.
